- Description
A panoramic view of a traditional wooden building with complex roof geometry, rendered in dynamic perspective in the tradition of Japanese modernism. The artist’s virtuoso handling of black and white planes emphasizes the strict rhythm of the window frames and supports.
Fine textured hatching of the graver precisely conveys the expressive relief of the roof tiles and the texture of old wood.
